O.S.Arun, undoubtedly one of the most gifted and popular Carnatic musicians in the country, inherits the mantle of singing from a family where music has been a way of life. He is the son and disciple of Sri O.V.Subramaniam, an illustrious musician from Delhi. The most appealing quality in O.S.Aruns music is his sonorous voice combined with captivating music.

Udaiyalur S. Kalyanaraman grew up under the guidance of the famous musician, Tiruvidaimarudur Venkatrama Bhagavatar. His music is mesmerizing and replete with devotion. Every raga is used to bring out the beauty of the perfectly pronounced lyrics. His voice has a quality that is magnetic.

T. R. Subramanyam, or TRS as he is more popularly known amongst most music loving rasikas is a vidwan with uncommon traits. He is unconventional in the sense, that he is a daredevil willing to explore new avenues, regardless of whether his new ideas are accepted or not. He may not start his concert with a traditional varnam or a kriti on Ganesha. On one occasion, the opening item of his concert was a javali in Kapi ragam!

Born in a family of musicians, Tanjore S. Kalyanaraman had his initial training in music from his father Srinivasa Iyer. He honed his immense talent under the illustrious legend G.N. Balasubramaniam, a rage among musicians in those days. This wonderful combination of musical heritage and intensive training under a musical genius helped Kalyanaraman master the art.
