And the Awards go to…. SWATHI SANSKRITI SERIES. Yes, we bagged three awards in the Prestigious Home Entertainment India Summit INDIAN DVD AWARDS Digital Cinema India Expo 2009 conducted in Mumbai on June 5, 2009.
There were over 240 entries across 20 categories in total, most of which pertain to Movies.

Chennai – Swathi Soft Solutions, which has launched DVDs of carnatic music, bharatanatyam and Tamil plays as part of its Sanskriti Series won many of the Indian DVD Awards announced recently.
At the conclusion of a conference at the Home Entertainment India Summit, there were over 240 entries across 20 categories, most of which pertained to movies. Swathi Soft Solutions applied for 5 categories and bagged 3 awards.

It is an odyssey into the magical world of percussion.Umayalpuram K. Sivaraman, septuagenarian mridangam maestro, who holds audience spellbound with his unique percussive skills, has showcased his profundity in an exhaustive video production spanning 22 hours and 30 minutes.
The functions held in various States in connection with the release of the album featured the doyen himself. Mr. Sivaraman chose to play the mridangam against an electronic rhythm box in the capital on Tuesday.
