Initiated early into music at the tender age of six, he continued his training from the late Saagi Venkateswar Rao, Smt. E Savitri in the Nagarjuna College of Music and Dance, Guntur. Venu Madhav soon went on to complete his certificate course under Guru Smt. Haripriya (Hyderabad Sisters) and diploma under the late Sri Vasa Padmanabham, passing these tough exams with flying colours. He is known for his perfect sense of sruti and laya.Endowed with a deep voice, he takes great care to get the right diction of the lyrics along with laying emphasis on the bhava and rasa of the raga and lyric.
