Carnatic Jazz attempts to bring Western concepts into Carnatic themes overlaid with good arrangements. Ragas are taken for the core melody & improvisation backed with western arrangements.

Dr. Jyotsna Srikanth is one of the very few names that springs to music collaborators in Western Europe and India while seeking artistes of high versatility across Indian Classical, Indian Jazz & World Fusion Music. Very active in musical collaborations for the last two decades, she has been working and experimenting with the pioneers of the World Fusion Music both within UK and outside. She has been featured in major global music events like WOMAD UK, South Bank Centre, Red Violin Festival Wales. Jyotsna has been performing since she was nine. An 'A' Grade artiste in AIR, Bangalore has been featured in BBC too.
Jyotsna is a highly qualified western classical violinist too. More @ www.indianviolin.eu. She was conferred the Fellowship in Carnatic Music from the Trinity College of Music, London.
