| Krishnaya Tubhyam Namaha |
Krishnaya Tubhyam Namaha of Dr. Padma Subrahmanyam created history in mid seventies and continues to charm its audience to this day, all over the world. Normally, Bharatanatyam recitals contain isolated independent numbers. More than three decades ago Dr. Padma Subramaniam revived the concept of a thematic presentation through mono acting by a lady. This programme has Lord Krishna as the central theme, dealing with His personality in its varied dimensions. To this Ultimate Reality an apparently paradoxical personality we offer this programme not as a mere entertainment but as a Yagna, with humility and devotion. Lyrics have been culled out from Sanskrit and Tamil literature.

| Jaya Jaya Sankara |
Jaya Jaya Sankara is a solo dance recital of Dr. Padma Subrahmanyam with Adi Sankara's message as the central theme. As a Prophet, Philosopher and Poet, Sankara stands foremost amongst the great figures in world history. Glorious clouds of legend surround the austere, charming, boyish figure of Sankara who lived in this world in the physical sense, only for 32 years. In the first number, Dr. Padma Subramaniam delineates some important events in the life of Sankara. She then takes up the concept of Shanmatha, the six cults of the Hindu fold. These are followed by two more numbers which highlight the essence of Advaita philosophy. Dr. Padma has utilised more than 60 verses in Sanskrit from about 25 works of Adi Sankara.

| Bhagavad Gita |
Bhagavad Gita This programme is an outcome of a profound yearning of Dr. Padma Subrahmanyam to express in a concrete form the most abstract philosophy of our unparalleled Hindu contribution to humanity at large. Dr.Padma Subramaniam performs both as Krishna and Arjuna in her usual Banika style. She has epitomised the 18 chapters and compiled the programme as consisting of four sequences. She gives a bird eye view of the content of Gita utilising 78 out of 700 slokas from the original text in Sanskrit. She hopes that her theatrical presentation of the Bhagavad Gita would inspire the spectator to go deeper into the bed of our Hindu ocean.

| Sangamam |
Sangamam is the result of Dr. Padma Subrahmanyam pan-Indian view of the integrated culture in which unity of thought and expression has been immanent since time immemorial. She has tried to capture in a capsule, this unique oneness, through this performance which focuses on mutual influences of poets and composers from various linguistic regions, reflecting catholicity, admiration, as well as religious harmony. In this bouquet of poetic flowers, Dr. Padma Subramaniam has gathered those of Muthuswami Dikshithar, Rabindranath Tagore, Kamban, Kashmiri Queen Khaba Khatoon, Dharmapuri Subbarayar, Periazhvar, Tulsidas, Bankim Chandra Chatterjee, Subramanya Bharati and a composition of Dr. Padma herself. The languages included are Sanskrit, Bengali, Malayalam, Tamil, Kashmiri and Telugu. Dr. Padma has used the respective traditional music for the poems apart from one composed by her and another by her nephew B. Kannan.

| Paripadal Mudhal Bharati Varai |
Paripadal Mudhal Bharati Varai is an ambitious project that Dr. Padma Subrahmanyam has conceived to present at least one spoonful of the ocean of Tamil literary heritage of 2000 years. This is one more venture to quench her literary thirst and give vent to her own study of Tamil. This programme tries to capture the gems that were produced by some of the greatest of Tamil poets. Subjects and emotions portrayed are quite kaleidoscopic in nature, thus giving a vast scope for Dr. Padma Subramaniam to transform Iyal Tamizh into Isai and Nataka Tamizh.

| Meenakshi Kalyanam |
Meenakshi Kalyanam by Dr. Padma Subrahmanyam is a riot of colours with participation of 45 dancers. This research product of her sister-in-law, Shyamala Balakrishnan, took a visual shape in the creative urge of Dr. Padma. It was presented for the first time in early 1960's and continues to grip the attention of the audience to this day. Mythology says that the Pandian King was blessed to have Parvati Devi herself as his daughter Meenakshi, who was born out of the sacrificial fire. This tom boy of a girl grew up as a warrior-princess with manly demeanour and egoistic nature. Dr.Padma Subramaniam was transformed into a personification of feminine grace at the very sight of Lord Siva in the battle field. The wedding of Siva-Sundareswara and Meenakshi is a popular theme all over Tamilnadu.
