Periya Vachan Pillai is the king of commentators Vyakyana Chakravarthy as he is rightly called. He is the only one to have given a commentary on all 4000 Divya prabhandams. One of his greatest contributions to Tamil Literature is the Pasurappadi Ramayanam, a compilation of the Ramayanam sourced entirely from the Divya Prabhandams. These beautiful verses cover all the six Khandams of the Ramayanam.
