Smt. Radha Badri graduated with Distinction in Vocal Music from the portals of Kalakshetra. She also has a post diploma with first class from the same institution and served there for 4 years, as a vocal artist for Dance dramas. She also completed the Sangita Sironmani course from Madras University. She is B High grade vocal artist of All India Radio, and has given several vocal concerts. She is one of the few gifted artistes who is equally proficient in singing Sangeetha kutcheries and accompanying Dance recitals . She has travelled & performed widely in India and around the globe. A much sought after artist, she has won several prizes for singing from the prestigious Music Academy and Krishna Gana Sabha. Recipient of several awards and titles, including the prestigious KALAIMAMANI award from the Government of Tamil Nadu in 2001 for singing for Bharatanatyam recitals, she has carved a niche for herself with her soulful singing and mellifluous voice. Her clear rendering and pronunciation of the lyrics in different languages make her concerts magical. Radha's powerful voice has captivated audiences all round the globe and made her popular among music and dance rasikas.
