Tallapaka Annamacharya (1408 - 1503) was the first composer who divided his compositions into Pallavi and Charanams. He was one of the
most profilic composers, Carnatic music has ever known with 32,000 sankeertanams to his credit of which only 14200 are available today.
He was a pioneer in various types of compositions and therefore rightly entitled 'Padakavita Pitamaha'. His compositions have been classified
into Spiritual and Sringara Sankeertanams.
Smt. Sweta Prasad, a distinguished artist from Andhra Pradesh has rendered 8 splendid compositions of Annamacharya in this product.
She has composed the music for these songs. She has trained under renowned musician Sri Nethi Sri Rama Sarma for several years. She has won the prizes
in many competitions and has performed many concerts. Sweta also has provided vocal support for many eminent dancers like Smt. Swapna Sundari,
Dr. Shobha Naidu and Dr. Ananda Shankar Jayanth.
