O.S.Arun, undoubtedly one of the most gifted and popular Carnatic musicians in the country, inherits the mantle of singing from a family where music has been a way of life. He is the son and disciple of Sri O.V.Subramaniam, an illustrious musician from Delhi. The most appealing quality in O.S.Aruns music is his sonorous voice combined with captivating music. The Kalaimamani award by the TamilNadu Government, Brahma Gana Samrat, Madhura Gana Shiromani, etc are some of the popular titles he has been conferred.
