'Ragamalika' literally means a garland of ragas. The prominent feature of this fascinating form is the setting of a number of passages in different ragas. Some Ragamalikas are very intricate and require great talent and expertise to render it in an arresting manner. This product features 8 such Ragamalikas composed by different composers, sung immaculately by Smt. Gayathri Girish.

Gayathri Girish is one of the renowned musicians of the present generation. A solid foundation laid by Sri Vaigal S. Gnanaskandan and Sangeetha Kalanidhi Madurai Sri T.N. Seshagopalan has seen Gayathri Girish amongst the top-notch artists of modern times. Her impeccable diction and a wide repertoire of compositions contribute to the commendable intensity with which she performs. She has given several Carnatic-Hindustani Jugalbandi concerts and has been the recipient of several awards and titles, namely "Isai Peroli", "Gaana Rathna", "Yuva Kala Barathi", to mention a few. She is an A-Grade artiste of All India Radio, Chennai.
